**About the role**
This is an opportunity to take responsibility for supporting our great culture and office environment, and creating a great office experience for the rest of our team. Working closely with our CEO, you’ll get to own various financial, people operations, and office management processes that are essential to our functioning as a business. You’ll have constant opportunities to design and improve our internal processes and take on more and more responsibility as you grow into the role. Some of the areas that you'll be responsible for (and will get trained on) include:
**Financial Operations**:
- Monthly Invoicing
- Payments & Supplier Management
- Monthly Payroll & Commission Calculations
**People Operations**
- New joiner setup & onboarding
- Leave tracking & approvals
**Office Management**
- Team event planning
- Team calendar management
- Managing the office environment and supplies
**Requirements**:
- University degree
- You live in Cape Town
- 1+ years work experience in an operational or administrative role, ideally in either office management or finance
- Experience working in an agency, startup, consulting or other customer facing environment
- Understanding of basic financial administration (invoicing, debtors, creditors)
- Good Excel / Google sheets skills
- Strong customer orientation and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written English - spelling, grammar, proofreading skills
