You will be required to provide service excellence in daily tasks when assisting clients with claims, providing correct information, schedule and prioritize the workload to close the claim out within the required deadlines as well as follow through with claims process until finalization.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Minimum 3-5 years Short Term Insurance Claims experience is not negotiable;
- Strong knowledge of Personal, Business Insurance and Specialised Liability Insurance processes and procedures required;
- NQF Level 4 Qualification a must;
- Tertiary Qualification in short-term insurance will be advantageous;
- Minimum 60 FAIS credits; and RE 5 essential;
- Class of Business: Short Term Personal and Commercial Lines Certificates will be advantageous;
- CPD hours achieved in current cycle will be advantageous
- Good Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills; and insurance systems
- High level of spoken and written English as well and spoken Afrikaans essential;
- Excellent telephonic etiquette;
- Strong administrative skills;
- Good information analysis skills, must be able to analyse full client claim history and evaluate the impact of the claim at hand

**Responsibilities**:

- Attend to the receipt of the claim and all administration of Short-Term Claims allocated;
- Addressing various coverage queries in accordance to SLA in a timely manner;
- Ensure client satisfaction on all claims;
- Collect required information and documentation pertaining to claims;
- Register claims within SLA/Mandates;
- Validate claims and process claims within the standard operating procedures;
- Update Estimates;
- Upload/File claim documentation;
- Update claim statuses timeously;
- Report Third Party claims within SLA;
- Report Risk/Fraudulent claims;
- Report recoveries claims within SLA;
- Keeping client up to date on progress of claims process
- Provide service excellence in daily tasks when assisting clients with claims
- Diary management
- Other adhoc duties as allocated by management
