**Scope**

My client the global leader in access solutions wishes to appoint a Sales Representative based in Mpumalanga or Nelspruit who will report to the National Sale Manager Retail.

They aim to deliver innovative, safe and convenient security solutions that provide real added value to customers. This division of the Organisation leads the development within door openings and products for access solutions in homes, businesses and institutions. Offering includes doors, door and window hardware, locks, access control and service.

**Purpose of the Role**:

- Represent the company’s products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how their solutions meet needs
- Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics
- Generate leads and build relationships by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets
- Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
**Principle Responsibilities**:

- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and relay objection handling
- Prepare professional proposals
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often utilizing product demos and presentations
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Maximize the listings of all category products (locks, padlocks, safes, alarms, door furniture, Smart Electronics etc.) through identifying opportunities to expand category sales
- Prepare proposals and co-ordinate implementation of concept displays and planograms
- Distribute marketing and POS material; provide training and merchandising support at store level
- Evaluate displays and merchandising and assist with improvements on an ongoing basis
- Provide support with instore promotions and other sales activities to drive business growth (this may include representation at stores over weekends and public holidays)
- Perform a merchandising service to ensure the brand is given a high standard of exposure at store level
- Update pricing and maintain customer master listings at store level together with timeous implementation of price increases
- Assessment and collection of valid returns and repairs in accordance with the returns policy
- Any other activities and new initiatives which enhance the development and growth of the brand
**Essential Qualifications & Experience**:

- At least a Grade 12/Matric
- A valid Driver’s license
- Computer literate in MS Outlook and MS Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and travel extensively. You will be required to sleep out frequently.
- Own vehicle in good working order
- Good knowledge of the geographical area
- Good knowledge of retail security industry
- Technical acumen (Basic networking knowledge, understanding of jargon and comfortable with installation and set-up of programmes / Apps eg pairing devices with IP settings)
- Required travel**:61-100% travel.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R300,000.00 per year
