**Work Study Officer**

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Execute time studies on a daily basis on all production lines to establish operational requirements per department.
- Motivate / ‘’boost’’ performance within various departments.
- Develop and implement operator techniques and handling on the lines.
- Responsible for Cycle Time Analyses of all products manufactured on the Sheraton Production lines.
- Assist the Costings Department and Costings Clerk with investigations and calculations concerning the manufacturing of products on a weekly basis; Report these findings to the relevant Manager.
- Assist on the production lines in a supervisory capacity when the relevant supervisors are not available.
- Manage all general administrative matters associated with the position.
- Responsible for any general task /duty associated with the position that may be required from time to time.
- Take reasonable care in the execution of duties and be mindful of others who may be affected.
- Take responsibility in ensuring that the following is carried out:

- Housekeeping standards are kept high at all at times;_
- Accident and unsafe practice reporting procedures are correctly followed._

**Requirements**:

- Experience as a work study officer in the Textile and/or Apparel manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ability in costing calculations
- Ability to analyse production data
- Able to work under pressure
- Deadline Oriented
- Time Management skills
- Ability to work with others and take initiative to get the task done.
- Problem solving skills
- Be logical and Innovation in thinking
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- Computer skills especially Excel at an intermediate level.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
