**JOB SUMMARY**

The Marketing Executive is part of an important team that coordinates the creation and executions of above-property and property-level communications and collaterals to our customers. Under the leadership of the Creative Marketing Studio Manager, this role ensures on-brand messaging to customers and stakeholders by ensuring the jobs briefed into the studio are in-line with brand guidelines with the goal of enhancing the image of the hotel and the brand. This role also gets to do a little bit of everything, from balancing and coordinating day to day client service brief into the studio to supporting the execution of ad hoc marketing or above-property initiatives and projects. Success is measured by how well they help support hotels and other business units with having the creative brief executed to brief and on-brand, within the standard operating procedures in terms of turnaround times.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Be the primary marketing services contact for his/her hotel accounts, for all marketing activities, driven by the hotel, via the Marketing Department.
- Provides assistance to the Creative Marketing Studio Manager with the relationship between Hotel, designers, agencies and printers.
- Support with the coordination of distribution of any printed marketing or operational materials such as brochures, invites and other collateral for distribution to the hotel and or sales team.
- Support with the production and design of standard electronic marketing material such as HTML5 web banners, power point presentations
- Coordination of above-property activities that require creative design into the studio and ensure a thorough approach to keeping business unit up to date on timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure that all SOPs and turn-around times set out by the department are met and that on-going clear communication is given to hotels, business units and stakeholders regarding the status of all jobs briefed in.
- Manage the Studios portfolio of approved images, assets and corresponding usage rights, keeping the Photography folders up to date, as well as the online image gallery to ensure that the best quality assets.
- Assist the Marketing Sales Organization team in ensuring that the latest and most updated presentations are available per hotel.
- Assist with copy-writing for advertisements and any required marketing material.
- Assist with additional duties as required by the Head of department.
- Distribute appropriate information and photographs to selected media, both online and print.
- Maintain effective relationships with business units, hotels and suppliers.
- Ensure the correct corporate policy and standards are followed for all printed and display materials, using SAL/Voice where appropriate.
- Maintain and enhance the hotel photographic library, ensuring all images are useable with signed and up to date usage rights.
- Ensure brand integrity is protected and promotional messages are delivered when dealing with 3rd party agencies.
- Support with the pull through of any continent or regional activations within the regional offices.
- Report back to Creative Marketing Studio manager on a weekly basis in relation to status of timings for all live jobs that are in the system.

**Experience**
- A solid grounding in the Hotel or Leisure Industry
- Experience in a Sales & Marketing environment
- Understanding of Marriott brand principles & marketing standards
- Hotel and/or Travel Industry sales & marketing background advantageous.
- Fluent in written and verbal English is a must

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Detail oriented with a track record of follow through and delivery
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to provide creative copy writing and proof reading is an advantage
- Microsoft Office, Work and Excel
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships e.g., stakeholders, associates, customers, vendors, suppliers.
- Ability to create innovative design projects and execute to market
- Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing) - this is a must.

**Education or Certification**
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Hospitality /Marketing Degree beneficial
- Project Management beneficial
