- To develop and manage a portfolio of consumer products as part of a product team in line with company goals and Fixed strategy
- Enablement of FTTx portfolio of products with the development, launch, continued viability assessment and retirement of fit for market FTTx products and services through a keen understanding of the Market dynamics

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- To work with different functions and stakeholders of the business to deliver products and services (This would involve working on documentation, providing inputs and evaluation for financial business cases, defining business rules and working with customer experience teams to define and refine customer journeys)
- To do revenue projections and forecasts for revenue and analyse and identify shortfalls and areas of improvement
- To come up with new product ideas based on consumer and market trends and also historical data and performance
- Product management and development, go to market strategy setting and implementation, product pricing, business case construction and justification
- Maintain a detailed understanding of our competitors and the market in order to ensure we are developing and innovating, including use of the latest technologies where appropriate
- Provider business requirements to the Agile IT development team and Configuration team.
- Enable the Sales and Ops functions with product artefacts, sales communication and sales training
- Launch products & services according to approved business rules and timelines
- Make ongoing product adjustments such as repricing and additional value add
- Terminate products & services in line with strategy & operational inputs from other divisional departments
- Execute agreed Go-To-Market plans with key stakeholders and channels. Liaise with stakeholders in creation of sales collateral, presentation material, customer case studies, and sales channel training

**Reporting**
- To regularly review launched products to ensure the performance is in line with initial assumptions and implement corrective measures if needed and also look at how to improve/enhance products
- Keep track of competitor launches and take measures to mitigate risks
- Monthly product presentations for an audience consisting of managing executives and senior management
- Matric essential
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience preferable within the Telecoms industry Inclusive of the Fibre (FTTx Technology and services) and or Broadband Access Products and services
- And Relevant 3 year Business Degree or National Diploma in Marketing, Financial / Commerce or Engineering or related
- Prior telecom experience is a plus
- Prior product management experience is a plus
- Understanding of telecoms product and technology is a plus

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- Product Development Life Cycle
- Understanding of the Fibre/Mobile
- Understanding of the OSS / BSS systems and processes (FTTX advantageous).
- Financial knowledge
