**Spatial Information Officer**

An EME based in Gauteng, is looking for a Spatial Information Officer to join their team at their Pretoria office.

**The following are the minimum requirements**:
1. 5 Years’ experience as an SIO on electrical, construction or engineering works.

2. Minimum ND in Cartography, Surveying or Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

3. Professional Registration with PLATO.

4. Be able to capture, validate, and maintain spatial data using a Geographic Information System (GIS) for transmission projects.

5. Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite(Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

6. Able to communicate on all levels

7. Strong attention to details

8. Timeline/Deadline driven

9. Experience with supervisory/co-ordinating outage/shutdown works

**Skills and Competencies required**

1. Determining spatial information needed for mapping activities.

2. Manage documentation related to spatial data and projects.

3. Participating in route determination for capital project transmission lines.

4. Problem solving skills

5. Team management

6. Be practical
