**Job Advert Summary**:
**Eduvos **is looking to hire the services of an Information Technology Lecturer at our Pretoria campus.

**Type of appointment**:
Independent contractor

**Purpose**:

- To lecture Information Technology-related modules, in the IT faculty on a part-time basis.
- To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Minimum qualifications required**:

- Minimum of BSc IT or Computer Science or any IT related degree
- BSc IT / Computer Science / IT related Honours or Masters degree will be preferable
- Suitable majors in Programming (Java, Python, C#, Mobile Programming) and Linux (Ubuntu)

**Modules to be lectured**:

- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Personal Skills Development
- Software Engineering (Object Oriented UML, SDLC)
- Database Design Concepts (Normalisation)
- Processing and Logic Concepts (Boolean Algebra, Number Systems)
- Program Design (Object Oriented Programming using Python)
- Linux Operating Systems
- Database Management (MySQL and SQL Server)

**Experience**:

- Relevant lecturing experience
- Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
