**Safety and Security Manager**

As our **Safety and Security Manager, **you will beresponsible for providing the highest level of hospitality standards with thorough knowledge of security operations, health and safety legislation, and operational, systems and technology expertise.

Acting as the custodian of all security, health and safety compliance, policies, and procedures, you will ensure full compliance for the hotel. You will develop, implement, and manage all security, health and safety standards, policies, procedures, and technology to ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and security legislation and regulations.

Part of your role will be to plan and coordinate security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others against risks and manage key outsourced partners and contracts for security management and staff transport. You will champion the training and supervision for all related training requirements, i.e. first aid, firefighting, health and safety, security, etc.

This role will involve managing all internal security staff, completing investigations, and liaising with local authorities regarding legal compliance. You will also provide input into risk and maintain relevant risk assessments and registers, develop, implement, and manage any required safety files, and facilitate any audits.

To excel in this role, you will bring a **relevant safety & security qualification** and at least **8 years’ experience in a similar position managing a team**. Your experience within the dynamic hospitality industry, coupled with your **knowledge of security-related procedures, equipment, and systems**, will provide a solid foundation for your continued growth and development in this role.

You have detailed **knowledge of CCTV security systems** and their use in managing security risks, as well as the ability to analyse processes and identify deficiencies, vulnerabilities, and risks. Your knowledge of fire safety measures, firefighting equipment, and related alarm systems, as well as basic knowledge of civil/criminal laws and investigation procedures, will see you far in this role.

An excellent communicator, your proven accuracy, decisiveness, and planning skills, as well as your ability to adapt swiftly to changing situations, ensure that our client-focused approach is never compromised.

Your organisational sensitivity and exceptional social skills will enable you to liaise effectively across all levels of the business. At the same time, your assertiveness and initiative will drive continuous improvement in our safety protocols.
