The Travel Coordinator at AHRI will be responsible for the management and co-ordination of travel management activities, obtaining optimal value for money and mitigating the risks associated with travel in performing the duties. The travel consultant will provide advice and support to the Head of Procurement in achieving and implementing the Department’s strategic objectives.

In addition, the Travel Coordinator will advise internal clients about suitable travel options in accordance with needs, wants and capabilities, thus helping with planning of trips to domestic/ international destinations, tours, accommodation, transport, insurance and all other relevant fares of AHRI staff.

The travel Coordinator will supervise the travel administration officer.

**Minimum Qualifications**

1. 3 years National Diploma or Degree in Tourism / Travel management or similar in a related field

**Minimum Experience**

**1. 5-** years’ experience in travel management** **with at least 2 years at a senior level

3. SAP experience will be an added advantage
