Administrative Costing Clerk

**Area/Location: Krugersdorp**
**Responsibilities**:
- Gather and compile data from various sources to calculate costs and expenses accurately.
- Enter and maintain cost data in financial systems or databases.
- Monitor and track costs for different projects, departments, or products.
- Collaborate with department heads and project managers to collect and verify cost information.
- Assist in the development and implementation of cost allocation methodologies and procedures.
- Prepare regular reports summarizing cost data, trends, and analysis.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate cost information.
- Support other administrative and financial tasks as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Proven work experience in a similar administrative or costing role.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts, cost accounting principles, and budgeting processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate numerical data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or other financial management software is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
