**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Additional responsibilities include:

- Provide general user support
- Provide support to the IT systems administrator to Install, configure, and manage Windows, Linux, and Mac desktops and servers, mobile device management as well as network infrastructure
- Keep the asset register, purchase management and support of all office IT infrastructure up to date
- Assist with network administration (e.g. Firewalls, Switches, Wi-Fi)
- Assist in documenting IT procedures
- Assist the IT Systems Administrator to Proactively monitoring and managing the portfolio of Vendors to ensure that they are performing all their contracted responsibilities
- Assist with the development life-cycle from requirements scoping, dev planning, execution, tests, QA and deployment
- Efficiently perform ad hoc task as directed

Other qualifications include:

- Relevant BDegree in IT or similar
- Some relevant work experience will be an added advantage
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Gives attention to detail and follows instructions.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Proficient in typing and data entry.
- Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner.
- Establishes goals and works toward achievement.
- Provides prompt and courteous customer service
- Applicant must have highly effective verbal and written communication skills, proven experience working in a team environment, and the ability to complete assignments independently with mínimal supervision
