What will you do?
Reporting into the IT Governance & Compliance Manager within Sanlam Group Technology, the incumbent is responsible for providing data privacy and protection administrative support to the SRA Data Privacy Governance Officer which includes receiving, disseminating, filing and tracking of all privacy related client requests as submitted through the designated support channels.

The role entails inter alia the following key responsibilities:
Receipt and acknowledgement of privacy related client requests and/or enquiries.
Logging and categorisation of requests and/or enquiries received.
Directing requests to processing points within participating Business Clusters and/or Business entities and/or other Functions (e.g. Customer Complaints teams) for resolution.
Servicing internal POPIA enquiries related to issue categorisation, assignment, progress status and other related issues
Track and follow up on resolution progress to update key stakeholders and the Sanlam Life POPIA mailbox register.
Extract information and compile reports as scheduled or as requested by the SRA Cluster Information Officer.
Assist the Data Privacy Governance Officer in the execution of the data privacy and protection programme related duties.
Assist the IT Governance Manager in Data Governance and Compliance related responsibilities as assigned. What will make you successful in this role?

**Minimum Qualifications**:
Matric
Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration from an accredited institution

**Experience and Knowledge**:
Minimum three years Client-Service related experience e.g. Call Centre
Minimum three years Office Administration and support including logging, reporting, tracking& filing

**Proficiency with using the Microsoft Office toolset**: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
