Business Assistant

To provide high-level administrative support to the director(s) and business to enable the attainment of business objectives. Responsible for the overall office management, drafting/preparing of reports and presentations, travel arrangements and other required correspondences.
**REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING**
- Grade 12
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree is preferred

**REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with a demonstrated track record of high accuracy, analytical and organisational skills and excellent computer skills
**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**
- Act as key contact and divisional gatekeeper as well as initial point of entry for escalated queries and for queries from other internal and external stakeholders
- Plan and direct all administrative, financial and operational activities for the directors.
- Organise and prioritise critical issues and required information for the directors to facilitate efficient decision making
- Oversee the management of the Director’s office to ensure smooth operations and that resources are available and operating effectively.
- Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Initiate and plan employee engagement events and communication management.
- Manage of directors/executive diaries and arrangement of appointments, organise meetings, logistics and conferences and taking and distribution of minutes at meetings
- Receive visitors and direct them to correct venues
- Screen calls take messages or divert to correct person
- Update business unit contact details and organograms
- Drafting/preparing of reports, memos, letters and presentations as directed
- Responsible for document management, ordering and distribution of stationary and corporate clothing
- Arrange accommodation for business unit and travel with insurance declarations where required.
- Coordinate orders and administration for travel
