**Overview of the Organisation**:
The London Basketball Association (LBA) provides sustainable and regular participation in the sport of basketball whilst aiding and encouraging a variety of career paths for young people living in London’s most deprived and isolated communities.

**What is LBA looking for?**:
The Project Manager will be required to assist and lead on key areas of LBA’s exceptional work. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and innovative charity and help bring enjoyment and vitality to young people from deprived and isolated communities. The majority of the tasks will require using your own computer, so it is essential that you feel comfortable and confident using MS-Office software and Google-Suites.

**Main Purpose**:

- Be responsible for coordinating all LBA coaching and officiating training & development with support of other LBA Project Managers.
- Be responsible for the coordination, management and support of all LBA volunteers with LBA support.
- Be responsible for ensuring all projects are developed, planned and delivered to the highest standards, aligned with LBAs values, and within the constraints of time, cost and functionality.
- To take responsibility for promoting the charity in the community and recruiting new coaches, referees, table officials and players by planning, organising and coordinating events, camps and coaching sessions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **The Project Manager’s responsibilities encompass the entire project lifecycle - from development/scoping to implementation and evaluation, to communications and stakeholder management. Responsibilities include**:_
- To comply with all job role rules and demands when representing LBA.
- Ensure all sports related projects are managed and delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
- Evaluate and monitor risks associated with any project.
- Manage and mentor the development of anybody under you including; more junior coach(s), volunteers, table officials, referees and anyone else affiliated with LBA in line with LBA policies and procedures.
- Identify, recruit and deploy coaches, table officials, referees and volunteers.
- Identify and source other training and development for LBA such as basketball clinics, videos, concepts, books and anything relevant or useful for anyone and everyone within the company.
- To complete administration duties, and attend internal and external meetings organised by LBA including;
- Ensuring that the charity meets its obligations to maintain its charity Club mark status.
- Ensuring that the charity meets any other requirements for internal or external reporting or procedures.
- Liaising with external organisations to secure venues, other resources and support for activities, events.
- Securing contracts and commissions to run events and activities under the Company name.
- Planning, organising and coordinating camps and other events.
- To be committed to, and carry out your role in accordance with LBA’s equitable practice principles and all aspects of both organisations Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People Policies.
