Conference Duty Manager

We are searching for a dependable Conference Duty Manager to perform day /evening time and weekend supervisory tasks within this hotels established conference venues and restaurants. The conference duty manager should be able to schedule employees' shifts, delegate pertinent duties, and enforce the conference venues and other outlets policies and SOP's. "Management while walking around" is key. This role you will assist in the restaurant and act as a duty manager on occasions, but primarily the conference floor, some admin will be requirement.
To ensure success as a conference duty manager, you should commit to furthering the hotels marketability by issuing memorable guest support and experiences ultimately, a fantastic conference duty manager will utilize their brilliant coordination techniques to encourage the hotels facility's efficiency.
Conference Duty Manager Responsibilities:
- Act as duty manager in the restaurants.
- Be the floor manager for all conferences and events.
- Scheduling shifts.
- Directing and assessing workflow periodically.
- Ensuring the observance of stipulated budgets.
- Furnishing guests with practical aid, as needed.
- Resolving notable disagreements between staff.
- Addressing rule violations committed by guests.
- Instituting suitable disciplinary measures upon employees' misconduct.
- Strengthening our fully-functioning security measures and conceptualizing new procedures.
Conference Duty Manager Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Possession of a Management, Training and Development, or adjacent qualification is ideal.
- Demonstrable experience as a reliable duty manager.
- Proficient in mainstream scheduling solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Brilliant supervision, motivational, and task delegation abilities.
- Refined coordination techniques.
- Willingness to perform nighttime and weekend tasks.
