The Company is an aerospace engineering and consulting services company with an extensive network of experts and industrial partners. Our small but highly qualified team of seasoned professionals develops cutting-edge solutions in aerospace, propulsion and systems engineering.

Our core capabilities are Design, Simulation, Assembly, Integration and Testing. We are looking for a PMO Manager who has a can-do attitude and is able to manage and motivate the engineers in the Company towards a common goal.

This exciting but challenging opportunity involves work on gas turbine and missile systems which will provide you with project management and system engineering capabilities, with the opportunity to become a project manager inside the Company.

**General Job Description**

The PMO Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality, standardization, and compliance of the processes and guidelines, as well as the reporting of success metrics. This role is also responsible for coordination with the project managers and engineers, which involves planning, scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing reporting**.**

**Responsibilities**
- Updating the engineers in various departments to ensure that they adhere to the weekly project plans and its requirements as set out by the project manager(s).
- Strong ability to coordinate action and collaborate across a globally dispersed workforce.
- Interim and quarterly status reporting to MK Aerospace Exco and Operational Management levels, clients and stakeholders.
- Utilize experience with data visualization tools, to create effective project reporting to display end-to-end views, actions needed and dependencies.
- Fully understanding the projects’ history, status and future challenges to meet the contractual milestones.
- Implement project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines, and standards to establish a stable framework that supports all project teams and stakeholders to improve project delivery.
- Ensure that all projects are tracked to baseline, monitored, and routinely reported to stakeholders, ensuring projects are thoroughly documented.
- Benchmark project management performance. Perform risk assessment and implement mitigation plans with the Project Managers. Conduct project audits and report score cards on completed project to ensure projects are tracked and reported to established standards and guidelines.

**Requirements**:
Execution of the duties and responsibilities pertaining to the position demands the following experience, skills and knowledge:

- At least 3 years’ experience in managing a PMO.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills.

In additional to the above, the following will be advantageous:

- Formal project management qualification or certification.
- Mechanical engineering background & understanding.
- Experience in resource levelling across a team of collective shared resources.

**Special working conditions**

Overseas travel to client sites could be required from time-to-time.
