**The individual’s responsibilities as receptionist/personal assistant will include**:

- Serving visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them in a professional manner.
- Offering refreshments to visitors where appropriate.
- Notifying company personnel of visitor arrival.
- Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
- Maintaining security and telecommunications system.
- Deal with queries and provide correct information.
- Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, taking notes, filing and etc.
- Keeping a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintaining equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Sourcing and ordering stationery and office equipment
- Organize catering for meetings (If necessary)
- Preparing meeting rooms when necessary.
- Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
- Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments, often controlling access to the Director.
- Reminding the Director of important tasks and deadlines.
- Plan travel, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation
- Take accurate and comprehensive notes at meetings.
- Collating and filing expenses.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field.
- Friendly and polite (manners cost nothing after all).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently and suggest improvements
- Team player
- A knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company-specific software if required.

**Job Type**: Temp to perm

**Salary**: From R7,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
