The African Union Development Agency invites applicants who are citizens of African Union Member States for the post of **Programme Officer, A2DSRH.**

Under the supervision of the Senior Advisor to CEO, the Programme Officer will provide technical and administrative support to the management unit of the A2DSRH Programme. The role will entail working collaboratively with internal teams, member states, and regional economic communities to promote and facilitate the effective execution of policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing sexual and reproductive health (SRH) across the continent.

**Required Skills and Competencies**
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage administrative and financial processes in line with institutional guidelines.
- Technically competent, and knowledgeable, with experience in public health.
- Ability to identify and contribute to the solution of problems/issues.
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision, be proactive, initiative, and with sound judgment.
- High level of integrity and accountability, flexible approaches to work coupled with enthusiasm, commitment, and energy.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and work under pressure with a wide range of individuals and institutions.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment.
- Experience working with AU or other international development organisations would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of various research methodologies and sources, including electronic sources on the internet, intranet, and other databases.
- Excellent written and oral communications and interpersonal skills.
- Sound analytical skills.
- Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals.
- Supports subordinates, provides oversight and takes responsibility for delegated assignments.

**Remuneration**:
Indicative basic salary of US$28,976.97 per annum plus other entitlements e.g., Post Adjustment (57% of basic salary), Housing allowance ($21,832.68 per annum), gratuity (15% of gross salary) in conformity with the rules and procedures applicable to internationally recruited staff of the African Union.
