**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**

**QUALIFICATION**:

- ** **Matric Certificate, Diploma, or degree in Marketing or related field.
- Qualification in Sales not essential but preferred.
- Applicable Qualification in Hospitality and Tourism not essential but preferred.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Opera Experience Advantageous or any property management system.
- Experience in sales corporations to maximize revenue advantageous.
- Experience in sales corporations to maximize revenue advantageous.
- 2-3 years’ experience in the same or similar position.
- Develop and implement new marketing campaigns and strategies.
- 5+ years’ MICE Sales experience
- Minimum 10 years of marketing/brand development work experience in relevant roles

Main Responsibilities

**Product Knowledge**
- Superior product and property knowledge is imperative
- Sub Brands
- Details/terms of sub-brands within the Village N Life Group portfolio
- Maintain knowledge of special rates / offers / promotions
- Understanding of Profile Rates

**Public Relations**
- Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness
- Writing of press releases and articles to ensure effective communications

**Customer Relations**
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and excellent communication skills
- Adopting a “can do” attitude with regards to customer enquiries
- Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products
- Promote and market products and services
- Identify correct guest profile and ensure targeted effectively
- Attract direct guests through online marketing and advertising
- Tracking market reach and analytics
- Analysis of local market trends and competitor activity
- Build relationships and strategize with key accounts to grow business mutually

**Branding**
- Develop, implement and maintain brand manuals
- Custodian of all VNL Brands
- Sub brands
- Monolithic retail brands
- Endorsed retail brands
- Freestanding retail brands

**Marketing**
- Market products by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns
- Complete marketing plan for each product
- Dot Sales and Marketing manuals and recommending sales programs
- Database management
- Attend trade and travel shows of various market area for promoting hotels event business
- Work with inhouse production team, creative agency or freelancers on all relevant designs and planning
- Maintaining promotional materials
- Responsible for traditional marketing
- Ensure Social Media platforms are maintained and enhanced continuously
- Weekly / Monthly Newsletters to be sent out
- To implement marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts
- Preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives
- Planning and organizing promotional presentations
- Updating marketing calendars
- Marketing of any events hosted at VNL property
- Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
- Promoting of Memberships and facilities on offer

**Digital Marketing**
- SEM: Manage Google Ads, Analytics, Push Marketing and Sales Programs
- Ensure quality content produced for the digital channels
- SEO: Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
- Web Development: Advise, collaborate and manage web development team
- Ensure all property and VNL websites are brand appropriate, well maintained, regularly updated and continually evaluated in order to ensure efficient navigation, online booking and optimal online marketing
