**Claims Administrator**
Company based in Menlo Park, Pretoria require motivated Claims Administrator. Market related
Salary.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Technical expertise: assessment and processing of all claims.
- Ensure Claims Framework is adhered to (e.g., ensure cover and all conditions have been adhered to, and relevant doc’s on file)
- Ensure claims mandates are adhered to
- Customer service: Maintain a high level of service to claimants and customers (internal and external) according to service level agreements and within the service standards as set by the company.
- Effective and timeous communication: Communicate in a professional manner with internal and external parties and respond to queries within 24 hours.
- May entail claim registration: when necessary, claims received to be registered within 24 hours of receipt.
- Premium checks: Premium checks to be done.
- Effective communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external parties including customers.
- **Assist the department with ad-hoc tasks if, and when needed**

**Required Knowledge and Experience**
- Sound understanding of the insurance (life or non-life) industry (non-negotiable)
- Minimum 5 years insurance claims experience
- Self-management skills (can organise work, space, time, able to work under pressure)
- Good communication skills (including writing and presentation skills)
- Relationship management skills (have the right approach with the right people)
- Sound understanding of the TCF principles
- Sound knowledge of MS Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Attention to detail, strong admin and computer skills
- Stable work track record
- English / Afrikaans language required

**Educational Requirements**
- Matric (Grade 12) - numeracy and literacy

**Salary**: From R12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Menlo Park, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
