Claim Consultant / Administrator

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Management of calls in a professional and efficient manner
- Follow up calls where and when needed
- Building professional relationships
- Handling all information on basis of trust
- Dealing with clients and processes in line with company procedures
- Optimal use of the "Call Centre" computer system
- Follow the correct DC Credit Protect procedures
- Complete the appropriate forms
- Maintain professional interaction with AU and Banks
- Prevent duplicate payments
- Maintain good relationships with insurance companies and banks
- Registration of claims.
- Gathering all relevant supporting documents to further the claims process.
- Information must be submitted to Insurers immediately upon receipt & excess all SLA time-frames.
- Daily follow up on claims process with the Insurer.
- Daily telephonic & written feedback to DCCP clients until claim is finalized.
- Improving turn-around times on claims by delivering service excellence.
- Identifying 3rd party information and escalating to Insurer.
- Load claims information onto any future client or claims system.
- Creating a client file.
- Ensure that claims item is deleted with Insurer after finalization of claim.
- Ensure adherence to claims & underwriting guidelines.
- Compile and submit outstanding claims report as per set standard.
- Ensure data integrity on all systems.
- Attend to client queries where it is required.
- Minimize or ZERO cancellations through regular and pro-active dealings with clients during the claims process.
- Assist clients with claims related problems and report all deviations to reporting level.
- Service Clients in accordance with the DCCP Service Standards.
- Superior Claims Finalization with the intent to generate referrals.
- Ensure confidentiality of database information
- Any other instruction from Management

**Desired Experience & Qualification**
- Matric
- Minimum of 5 years insurance claim experience
- Credit Life Insurance experience will be an advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

- Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)
