CORPORATE SERVICES Senior Professional Officer - Telecommunication

Tender (BID) Management

**Requirements**:

- A relevant Bachelor’s degree, BSc Electrical Engineering preferable,

Bachelor of Technology
- At least five (5) years’ relevant experience in a telecommunication

technical area
- Three (3) years’ writing technical equipment and telecoms network

specifications, technical solutions architecture, methods and

procedures, work instructions and statement of works as well as

standard operation procedures
- Project management or tender management experience.

Key Performance Areas
- Responsible for telecommunication tender specification in the

procurement process for the telecoms broadband services (fibre,

civils, BMS, switching centres, radio and radio masts

functional area to ensure operational effectiveness
- Manage risks impacting business tender continuity and operations
- Relationship management and engagement of both internal and

external stakeholders involved in tender implementation, tender

management and/or contract management roles

lead projects within the specific discipline of TBS partner

management
- Ensure a climate conducive to promoting and sustaining

motivational levels, productivity, performance and improving the

quality of work life
- Manage subordinate staff and their performance.
