CORPORATE SERVICES Principal Technician - DWDM

**Requirements**:

- A relevant National Diploma
- A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant industry experience in

telecommunications transmission networks and networking

for DWDM networks
- Experience in troubleshooting transmission, routing and switching

issues.

Key Performance Areas
- Undertake and lead technical activities within the switching

facilities and high sites infrastructure maintenance and repairs
- Provide quality supervision and control of planning, planning
- Ensure as-built information submitted accordingly for update:
ensure compliance with SOPs, policies and guidelines, provide

feedback to management
- Design Interpreting - review and interpret the drawings/plans

specifying changes in records or as-built information
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the DWDM network

maintenance as well as contractors involved in the supply and

update of information in order to fulfil delivery commitments of

the section
- Provide support to project management and operations

management as required to ensure commitments are met by

City vendors
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholder.
