We are looking for a** Receptionist** to be based at our Head Office in Durban
**Minimum Requirements**
Grade 12 (Matric)
MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) proficiency
English - excellent written and communication skills
**Key Performance Areas**
Providing a telephone service to clients and staff by:
- Answering in-coming telephone calls, responding and redirecting as required.
- Taking / delivering telephone messages.
- Greeting clients, handling queries, providing information, and resolving issues, as is appropriate.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding specific requirements and maintenance needs.
- Sourcing telephone numbers and making outgoing calls as requested.
- Updating of internal contact lists as and when required for Head Office and stores.
Maintaining the reception area and receiving visitors by:
- Monitoring / reporting on the cleaning and presentation of the reception area.
- Greeting customers, receiving parcels and distributing to required stores/areas.
- Providing information, directing clients and responding to queries.
Courier:
- Arranging courier company to collect documents, parcels as and when required.
- Signing for documents and parcel deliveries as and when required.
- Ensuring that all documents, parcels, post received is distributed timeously to the
relevant person.
- Assisting with basic data capturing, and general typing as and when required.
General:
- To undertake all mandatory training as required and participate in appropriate in-service training as and when required.
- Maintaining the strict confidentiality of all information acquired especially with regard to trade procedures, policies and staff.
- To undertake an appraisal and personal development review annually and through self-development, continuously update and improve knowledge and competencies.
- To take responsibility for being up to date with current policies and procedures and to adhere to these.
- Co-operating fully in the introduction of any new technology and new methods as appropriate.
- To undertake any other relevant duties requested by management
