Human Resources Manager
The Human Resources Managers job at Baraka is biased towards Human Capital Development & Talent Management. The first order of this role is to understand the business strategy of the Company, its goals and priorities. Once HR Manager understands where the business is looking to excel, they can begin building talent strategies that work towards the Companys objectives. The HR Manager will help the Company meet its strategic objectives by shaping the performance and development of all employees, designing and supporting the company talent management frameworks including skills development, career development, performance management, succession planning and workforce/human resource planning whilst guiding and managing Human Resources services for the Company through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. The Human Resource Development Manager plays a pivotal role in improving both the productivity of the Company and its cultural wellbeing.

Main
**Responsibilities**:
Overall responsible for the development and implementation of all HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy;
Identifying the Companys needs and working to create and implement an efficient talent acquisition strategy to improve recruitment and business performance;
Working with senior executives in the Company to identifying skills gaps in the company, and implementing workforce planning and resource forecasting, and anticipating the Companys future and advising the executives on recruiting tactics that will help to sustain the companys success;
Specifically working with senior executives to identify, and then taking responsibility to organize and oversee individual and team learning and training programs, including maintaining the Companys annual OEM Certification & Accreditation levels, and Internship Programs;
Specifically planning for regular employee performance reviews and feeding back to the senior managers;
Specifically developing and implementing employee retention programs or strategies;
Specifically handle all compensation related matters to maintain a fair and equitable remuneration system. This includes preparing and processing the monthly payroll;
Specifically handle employee relations, communications and grievances for better staff morale, retention, and motivation;
Specifically manage the employee welfare programs / events for greater employee satisfaction;
Specifically coordinate the onboarding of new employees including to ensure quick familiarization with the work environment and induction, particularly on and during customer projects transition phases;
Specifically establish succession planning strategies for identifying, developing, and promoting high potential and high performing staff in line with the Companys objectives;
Specifically develop annual leave plans for staff of the Company and ensure compliance with Company policy;
Qualification Requirements
Bachelors Degree in HR Management or related field
Relevant progressive experience of a minimum of seven (7) years in Human Capital Development and Management, preferably in the ICT Sector
Professional/post graduate qualification in Human Resource Management
Hard Skills Required
In-depth experience implementing HR Policies and Procedures
Understanding of Organization Design concepts
Experience with implementing Performance Management frameworks
Understanding of South Africas Labour Laws
Experience with execution of General HR Operations
Competence in Learning and Development tools
Experience with Remuneration and Job Evaluation Tools
Knowledge of Recruitment Practices and Talent Mapping
Experience with Records Management & Compliance Systems
Understanding of Employment Contracts Management
