Human Resource Manager

**Job Objective**:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the management and administration of the Human Resources Department.
The Human Resources Manager will be primarily responsible for the implementation and continuous reassessment of the organisation’s HR strategy, in
order to ensure that the organisation reaches its strategic business objectives on an ongoing basis.
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible to ensure full compliance with all relevant labour legislation
The Human Resources Manager manages all the Human Resources activities, and all aspects of operations and administrations attached to this area.
With a particular focus on talent retention, The Talent Retention Specialist acts as ambassador to the ClientsSouth African employees and prospective
employees, providing information and support services at all stages of the employee life cycle: recruitment, onboarding, orientation, career planning,
career development, and transition.
The Talent Retention Specialist works with senior management in developing strategies & SOPs to recruit and retain a strong work force and promotes
the Client inSouth Africa and it’s subsidiaries as an employer of choice in the industry.
**Responsibilities**:
General Human Resource Management
Development of HR Strategy and Operational Plans for effective implementation of the organisational business plan through effective departmental work plans
Overall Management of the HR and Administration Department, including the personnel and delivery of departmental tasks
Ensure compliance with applicable laws regulating Employment Equity, including implementing plans to help the organisation achieve the set Employment Equity Targets and Plans - BBBEE related
Personnel Management and Administration, including proper record-keeping and update of all personnel files, ensuring that all personnel have signed contracts of employment that are in line with BCEA as amended and are reviewed continuously, including Leave Administration for all employees in line with the company’s Leave Policy
Benefits Management and Administration, including effective management and administration of employee benefits, annual review of staff benefits and support the CFO in ensuring that there is maximum return on investment of contributions towards Provident Fund(s)
Performance Management for the organisation, including maintaining the approved organisational Performance Management System, by ensuring that Performance Agreements are signed by all employees, annual reviews of the Performance Agreements are conducted, and that Performance Reviews are conducted as required
Developing Workplace Skills Plan, implementing a Training Plan, reviewing effectiveness of Training Plan and developing the Annual Training Report
Payroll Management and Compliance to Legislation, including accurate and timeous payments of salaries, proper accountability, and reconciliations of these payments in line with company policy and statutory SARS regulations, including Maintaining Salary Grading structure in line with approved Salary Grading Scale
The necessary filing of Employment Equity and Annual Return of Earnings is successfully made to Dept of Labour, and that Certificates of Compliance annually issued by Dept of Labour
Support the Executive Management team in enforcing Staff Discipline and developing an appropriate Organisational Culture
Occupational Health and Safety aimed at ensuring that there is a healthy and safe work environment which meets the required Health and Safety standards and applicable policies
Pool Cars Management, Travel Management, Reception services and Company Logistics Management
Reporting to the CEO on assigned key deliverables, including providing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to relevant Management Structures and Board, including the relevant Board/Sub-committees timeously
Talent Retention Specialist
Work with management to define and implement Aurobindo South Africa’s recruiting and staffing strategy.
Develop a Staff Retention Strategy and ensure that there is continued implementation of Annual Staff Retention Program to minimize staff turnover and ensure that motivated and high-quality personnel are retained
Research and develop opportunities to recruit, retain, and promote a diverse workforce.
Review, update, classify and reclassify job descriptions for existing and new positions.
Provide oversight and guidance to the search and selection process for all vacancies.
Advertise and promote employment opportunities to the internal employees and recruitment agencies and coordinate recruiting and hiring functions across the company
Assist Managers in developing temporary staffing strategies to cover extended absences or extended openings of key positions.
Conduct onboarding interviews of new and transferred employees.
Assist Managers in the orientation of new or transferred employees as requested or required.
