JOB STATEMENT

More Specifically the BL and MA is in process of negotiating a long terms Service and Maintenance Contract for a number of Products with one of it’s key clients. This will require a dedicate Service Project Management Coordinator in the MA to facilitate the planning and execution of these project over the time span of the Contact.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Service Project Coordinator functions across all business lines and business areas in the matrix structure of Metso Outotec
The role requires planning and coordinating activities between internal customers and external customers at all levels of the supply chain to ensure resources and equipment meet up in a timely manner to meet client objectives and commercial commitments.
Needs to actively drive planning and execution activities related to the service projects assigned
Ensures efficient information sharing between Customer and relevant parts of Metso Outotec’s organization
Responsible for customer relationship and -insights via customer visits and co-operation with other business areas such as workshops, logistics etc.
Understands customer business and is capable facilitate Metso Outotec’s added value to it
Responsible for providing feedback on customer expectations pertaining to the specific projects assigned
Authority to raise Customer concerns through the organization
Lead the overall detail planning of actions schedules during Kick of Meetings for new SVS projects and provide the day-to-day tracking and coordination tasks
Contribute to implement SMART actions of the SVS SPC team.
Coordinating the Assignment of SVS project specific tasks to the appropriate resources.
Support the Development, Refinement, Alignment and Implementation of the SVS Projects “Way of Working” strategy and operational handbook with MA requirements and Global Guidelines
Regular feedback to the Service Projects Lead Coordinator in terms of the Specific Service Projects assigned:
FUNCTIONAL PROFILE

You will be required to travel and visit various locations within the market area such as but not limited to:
Client Operational Site
Sub-Contractor Workshops and facilities
Client Agent corporate facilities
Supply Chain locations such as warehouses, shipping points, Loading points etc
Coordinates cross-organizational project team to promote a One Organisation approach towards the customer
Ensures efficient information sharing between Customer and relevant parts of Metso Outotec’s organization
Responsible for customer relationship and -insights via customer visits and co-operation with other business areas.
Understands customer business and is capable facilitate Metso Outotec’s added value to it

Participate in detail planning of actions schedules during kick off and setup meetings for new SVS projects and supervise the day-to-day tracking and coordination tasks
Other ad-hoc tasks as required

RELATIONSHIPS INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL INTERFACES

Reports directly to Service Projects Lead Coordinator for MA Africa
You will be required to regularly engage with Customer and Customer representatives on various levels
Strategic and Large account managers
Site account managers and teams
Regional and Market Area teams
BL and PL teams
Sales Development, Marketing and Product Management teams
Delivery organization
Customer Logistics organization
Ongoing relationships with all Metso Outotec Departments

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Matric (Grade 12)
3-5 years background and experience in detail project management
Proficient with use of MS Projects Software
Proficient with MS excel to use data manipulation for analysis identifying focus areas
Familiar with SAP GT2(4.2) and transacting in SAP GT2(4.2) to pull reports and do basic transacting.
Good understanding of the Metso Outotec Sales Processes - Lead to Order Process.
Good understanding of the Metso Outotec logistics processes
- Order to delivery of spares (in order to expedite and ensure timeous delivery.)
