Duties and responsibilities:

- Prepare staff handbooks, administer payroll and maintain employee records
- Update all EE movement on the payroll system.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the biometric systems and ensuring the data is correct and corresponds with actual hours worked
- Tracking of Annual and Sick Leave for all employees
- Plan and sometimes deliver training, including new staff inductions
- Write and develop job descriptions, person specifications and job adverts
- Manage recruitment process (job profiling, advertising, assessment, shortlisting,
- interviewing, appointment, onboarding), crim checks and references.
- interviews, conducting interviews with Line Management and ITC and conducting reference
- checks according to the prescribed format for all applicants recommended for
- employment.
- To maintain and update the computerized attendance registers of each employee.
- To assist with the coordination and administration of the performance appraisal system
- To assist in the implementation and monitoring of effective employee relations within the hotel.
- All administration surrounding disciplinary hearing (issue notice, arrange chairman, venues, attend and prepare minutes, attendance register, issue sanction, prepare all
- paperwork)
- Purchase and issue uniforms and ensures all financial procedures are adhered to

**Requirements**:

- Relevant HR qualification
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in human resources.
- Must have VIP Payroll experience
- Knowledge of employment legislation.
- Computer literate in Ms Office and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
- Drivers licence
