We are on the hunt for a seasoned HR Generalist who will be responsible for providing a shared generalist service to Trace Southern Africa, management of employees as well as the day-to-day management of HR operations to assist with a diversity of responsibilities within the ambit of all HR functionalities and the employee life cycle.
In addition, responsibilities will include recruitment efforts, ne hire orientation and onboarding, employee off-boarding, compensation and benefits, and enforcing company policy and procedure adherence. You will build strong partnerships with our company's managers to help with their human resource needs.

**Duties and responsibilities**:
Being actively involved in the talent acquisition process by preparing job descriptions, posting adverts and managing the selection process including setting up interviews.
Prepare employment contracts for the new employees
Coordinate and conduct the employee onboarding process
Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance
Maintain employee records according to policy and compliance requirements
Administer and coordinate all HR-related events and meetings.
Collate and input all payroll information and changes monthly for the relative pay period
Submit all payroll input to Payroll administrator
Manage leave processes and assist in monthly payroll reporting
Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to absence issues, disciplinaries, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organisational change, and all other employee-relations matters
Co-ordinating planned training with service providers
Assist help organise training and development initiatives
Assist Line managers to execute the development plan of employees
Monitor employee morale and company culture
Undertake tasks around performance management by assisting the line managers in the performance management process
Organise and assist bi-annual and final employee performance review.
Lead HR practices and objectives that provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture.
Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations
Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience
Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies
Committee facilitation in terms of employment equity and skills development
Coordinations and assisting in regulatory compliance and reporting in respect of Employment Equity, WSP/ATR, SA statistics, COIDA, BBBEE
Participate and supporting in development and implementation of HR objectives, initiatives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements

**Desired skills and competencies**:
Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Passionate about HR field and people.

**Qualification and experience**:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in organisational psychology or human resources.
4-6 years of experience working in Human Resources.
Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field.
