Client Liaison Officer

**Job Summary**:
Aon South Africa has an exciting opportunity for a Client Liaison Officer at our offices in Sandton. The role of the successful incumbent is to service a portfolio of Retirement & Risk Benefit clients, provide assistance and support to the consultants or colleagues.
This position complies with the Company’s Employment Equity Policies
**Key Responsibilities**:
Maintains and builds relationships with existing and new clients as well as with Insurers and Fund administrators.
Attends to and resolves client queries, promptly and efficiently**.**
Prepares all communication and information requirements (agendas, minutes, reports) for client meetings.
Assists with the annual market review of existing benefit offerings and/or applicable rates.
Provides administrative support to the team including updating and maintaining accurate records and files, entering data into relevant systems, assisting with producing documents and collating information.
Adheres strictly to agreed SLAs with clients.
Responds promptly and efficiently to instructions, requests and enquiries at all times.
Plans and prioritises time and work in order to provide an efficient service to clients and colleagues.
Cooperates and works with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed on time.
Responsible for engaging in business development and/or contributing directly or indirectly to all business development efforts in Aon South Africa.
**Minimum Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
An NQF level 5 qualification in wealth management financial planning.
RE 5 certificate.
**Knowledge**:
Advanced computer literacy with advanced proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Knowledge of the principles and practices within a technical/divisional field.
**Skills and Attributes**:
Well-developed communication and writing skills.
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
Well-developed prioritization, planning and time management skills.
Well-developed ability to work with and in teams.
**Experience.**
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in client liaison in the retirement funding and risk benefits environment.
**FAIS Compliance**:
Comply with the applicable Fit and Proper provisions as set out in the Board Notice 106 of 2008 issued by the FSCA governing Financial Advisory and Intermediary services Act, 2002 - Determination of Fit and Proper requirements for Financial Service Providers, 2008.
Have knowledge and understanding of the applicable provisions set out in the General Code of Conduct for Authorized Financial Services Providers and Representatives (as governed by the FSCA, Board Notice 80 of 2003).
Have knowledge and understanding of the applicable provisions set out in the Short Term Insurance Act No 53 of 1998 and supporting regulations.
Have an understanding of the provisions of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA), No 38 of 2001 and amendments thereof.
