**MISSION & PURPOSE**

The role will be focused on providing travel support to the business.

In addition, where required, the role will contribute to other work that may be ongoing within the wider business.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES**
- Arrange travel for staff, executives, clients and other ad-hoc visitors.
- Follow policies and procedures in the Company Travel Policy.
- Collect information from designated Travel Agent and other travel suppliers.
- Research best available routes at best available prices, identifying the best and most cost-effective option.
- Liaise with the traveller/s offering a choice of options where available and providing guidance.
- Offer travel advice when required, for example best routings, transfers and minimum connection times.
- Confirm reservations, distribute tickets, confirmations and itineraries to traveller/s.
- Build strong relationship with Travel Agent, and travel suppliers to ensure best working practise.
- Use the in-house travel request and bookings systems and suggest enhancements to improve its capability
- Responsible for maintaining all data relating to travel (e.g. credit card documents, invoices, etc).
- Procure necessary travel documents when necessary, for example: visa’s or other clearances.
- Arrange group travel to conferences/events when required, obtaining the group rates where appropriate.
- Obtain necessary approval for travel from Line Managers.
- Close out travel requests on completion of the trip.

**EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, TYPICALLY**
- Previous experience in an administrative role (2+ years)
- Previous travel and visa booking experience (2+ years)
- Experience in dealing with customers (internal & external).
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
