Our client in the Technology industry is looking a Technical NOC Team Leader to join their team.

**Job Summary**:
The Technical NOC (Network Operations Center) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the NOC team, ensuring the smooth functioning of the network infrastructure and proactively addressing any technical issues or disruptions. The NOC Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams, prioritize tasks, and implement best practices to maintain optimal network performance and customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:
Team Management:
Lead and supervise the NOC team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.

Set clear performance goals, provide guidance, and conduct regular team meetings.

Network Operations:
Monitor network performance, availability, and security through various monitoring tools and systems.

Identify and resolve network incidents, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and timely escalations.

Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident management and response.

Implement proactive measures to prevent network outages, optimize performance, and minimize service disruptions.

Incident and Change Management:
Ensure all incidents are logged, tracked, and resolved within defined service-level agreements (SLAs).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve incidents promptly.

Coordinate and manage change control processes, including reviewing change requests, assessing impact, and scheduling changes to minimize service impact.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
Establish and maintain relationships with network vendors, service providers, and technology partners.

Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely resolution of network-related issues and escalations.

Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as IT teams, engineering, and customer support, to address network-related requirements and issues.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Develop and maintain performance metrics and reports related to network availability, incident management, and team performance.

Analyze network performance data, identify trends, and propose improvement strategies.

Present reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for network enhancements.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Proven experience (5+ years) in managing a NOC or network operations team, with a focus on shared WiFi being advantageous

Strong knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls).

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

**Salary**: R18,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month
