As a **Junior Technical Assistant**, you will assist customers with technical challenges, support internal teams with product specifications, monitor inventory, troubleshoot defective products, and contribute to product development. You will also be responsible for key administrative tasks, including documentation, reporting, and coordination between departments.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Customer & Technical Support**
- Understand customer technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
- Assist with mechanical seal inquiries and technical issues.
- Serve as a liaison between different departments to relay business-related information.

**Technical Administration & Documentation**
- Organize and maintain technical files, including drawings, datasheets, and process documents.
- Create reports and maintain records (inventory logs, delivery records, timesheets, agreements, contracts).
- Draft brochures, datasheets, IOMs, and other technical documents.
- Assist with CAD drawings and sketching components for local quotes/manufacturing.

**Workshop & Procurement Support**
- Assist in the seal repair process and provide workshop support.
- Monitor spare parts availability and follow up with suppliers.
- Manage local purchase orders (creating, following up, and ensuring quality control).
- Verify received stock and correct discrepancies.
- Maintain inventory journals and track stock movements.

**Product & Industry Knowledge**
- Conduct research and competitor comparisons to enhance product knowledge.
- Provide technical training and support to internal teams.

**Requirements**:

- **Matric certificate** (essential).
- **CAD experience**is valuable
- **Computer literacy** (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
- **Strong problem-solving skills** and the ability to work under pressure.
- **Good communication skills** with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- **Attention to detail** and a strong sense of accountability.
- **Ability to read and interpret technical drawings** (preferred, but not essential).
