Implementation Specialist

**Location**: Midrand South Africa

Ensures the implementation of the company Enterprise Cash Management (ECM) software by configuring ECM solutions, creating client requirement specifications, making presentations to clients and leading the software implementation process.

This role is primarily responsible for the implementations of the Companies Enterprise Cash Management (ECM) software suite (Vault Management and Business Intelligence software) in South Africa and Global regions. The ECM products are used by Central Banks, Commercial Banks and other bulk cash processing organisations.

The ECM Implementation Specialist will work closely with the local Business Consultant, Project Manager to deliver the implementation of ECM ISA solutions and support the local sales manager in ECM pre-sale activities.

**1.** **Software Implementation**:
**A.** **Implements ECM software for clients by configuring solutions, creating specifications, working with development teams and leading the implementation process.**

Ø Undertake the lead role in configuration of ECM solutions to ensure the documented requirements are met.

Ø Undertake the lead role in the creation of requirements specifications to satisfy ECM software client’s requirements.

Ø Undertake the lead role in the implementation of ECM solutions which satisfy the client’s requirements.

Ø Be responsible of the review and approval of all documents with reference to ECM Implementations.

Ø Work with the Development team(s), both internal and external to ensure the correct solution is documented and created.

Ø Ensure technical issues are recorded in Jira and/or other helpdesk system and kept up to date.

Ø Assume responsibility for the technical aspects of ECM Implementation projects.

Ø Be responsible for the review and handover of all implementation projects to clients with reference to ECM Implementations.

Ø Interface with clients as required throughout the implementation cycle of ECM products to ensure the solution satisfies the need.

Ø Interface with the project management team working together to build workable schedules.

Ø Working with adherence to the agreed implementation and project management processes.

**2.** **Customer Management**

**B.** **Promotes the provision of services to clients and potential clients by leading the software implementation process and making product presentations.**

Ø Deliver required service levels according to company policies and client agreements.

Ø Provide product presentations, demonstrations and lead technical conversations with current and potential customers

**3.** **Business Analysis**

**C.** **Identifies client requirements via the following**:
Ø Eliciting and documenting functional requirements from customers

Ø Evaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing ECM software, hardware and IT processes

Ø Design and execute testing procedures to extract data from test runs

Ø Evaluate and draw conclusions from data related to customer behaviour

Ø Create project plans for information technology development and testing.

Ø Translate requirements into new information technology project specifications.

Ø Identify, communicate, and manage risks associated with projects.

Ø Identify business or customer requirements and information technology alternatives

**4.** **Training**

**Capacitates clients and colleagues in the software implementation by**:
Ø Liaising with, and providing training to and supporting external end user clients and staff on ECM software usage and operation via verbal or written communications

Ø Conducting systems training sessions in various settings for internal and external customers.

Ø Achieving targets in terms of trainer evaluation scores and trainer productivity.

Ø Developing teaching aids including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids and reference works.

Ø Working with internal and external customers to formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods.

Ø Provide knowledge and insight to the ECM product range to Cash Processing Solutions staff as required.

**5.** **Carries out general functions via the following**:
Ø Provide support to the Pre-Sales team, this may include but is not limited to: documentation, Client meetings and/or presentations as well as estimates for prospective new projects.

Ø Assist should the need appear, with any other technical aspects of the sale, delivery and support of the ECM solution. Including, but not limited to:
i. Professional Services

ii. Consultancy activities

iii. Installation and Implementation

iv. Testing...

Ø Ensure that ECM Support documentation is completed, and handover is completed in a timely manner.

Ø Provide support to the Cash Processing Solutions support teams as required.

Ø Review policies and procedures used within the Implementation team to ensure “Best Practice” is being followed or improved upon.
