**Key Responsibilities**
- Generating and increasing sales of lifting and rigging products and services
- Expanding technical product knowledge and generating and increasing sales, consistently achieving monthly targets
- Market intelligence - develop good customer relationships and maintain / improve existing customer satisfaction - trouble shooting Increase customer base, develop new markets and follow up on leads
- Have a full understanding of competitors' activities in the territory
- Have a full technical understanding of the market dynamics in the territory mines, industrial achricultural etc Maintain customer call records and customer service
- Prepare quotes based on pricing guidelines set
- Prepare and give sales presentations to promote products
- Comply with the safety, health and environmental standards
- Care of assets and assigned tools of the trade to required standards
- Record keeping up to date and correct
- Reports to Branch Manager
- Professional and ethical conduct at all time
- Willing to work outside normal working hours if required to
- Prepaired to travel extensively in vast area
- To assist with ad hoc tasks, initiatives and projects within the branches
- Advise customers by providing solutions to lifting problems
- Prepared to be trained to use forklift and overhead crane to assist in loading and off loading if required
- Inherent Requirements
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Grade 12 minimum
- Sales experience with proven results in mining and industrial and achricultural field over minimum of 5 years A marketing or Sales Diploma is preferred with engineering background
- Knowledge of rigging and Lifting would be a key advantage
- Extensive Mining, Industrial and Achricutural Knowledge
- Sound Computer Skills
- Mathematical Inclined
- Valid Code 8 drivers License
- Prepared to get Forklift and Overhead Crane Licenses if not valid current
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
