ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Consultants are jointly responsible for the delivery of their own output, formally reporting in most cases to the Manager responsible for the team. They work to support more senior members of their team and their responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing their own work in an administrative and

CORE COMPETENCIES

Client Service:
Under direct supervision, responsible for assisting with case processing, liaising with co-counsel and / or providing administrative support to the team.
- Builds knowledge of relevant client protocols and processes.
- Focuses on client service and meeting client SLAs.
- Meets assigned deadlines and communicates case progress / status / issues to more experienced Consultant, Senior Consultant or Supervisor.
- Demonstrates flexibility and initiative.
- Supports strong client relationships by displaying professionalism and efficiency in appropriate communications as directed by more experienced Consultant, Senior Consultant or Supervisor.
- Encouraged to develop an awareness of Fragomen's position in the marketplace.
- Encouraged to contribute ideas and / or suggestions for improvements.

Productivity, Accountability and Efficiency:

- Accepts responsibility for their work output.
- Organized and proactive.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
- Encouraged to look for ways to maximise revenue on their accounts.
- Keeps more experienced Consultant, Senior Consultant or Supervisor aware of the progress of matters to manage expectations, and informs of conflicting priorities / requesting assistance as problems arise.
- Assists more experienced Consultant, Senior Consultant or Supervisor to progress case load, ensuring work is reviewed and signed off at each stage.
- Drafts correspondence to assist more experienced Consultant, Senior Consultant or Supervisor.
- Monitors and actions client drop boxes.
- Generates and prepares client reports.
- Supports team on projects as necessary.
- Follows firm procedures with respect to file maintenance, record keeping and use of firm's systems including Fragomen Connect.
- Regularly reviews WIP / billing reports and ensures billing is conducted in a timely and consistent manner.
- Builds knowledge of legislation, guidance and policy relevant to workload

Communication:

- Generates clear, well-organized written work-product.
