**JOB PURPOSE**

The Junior Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, ensuring high-quality service delivery, as well as driving sales growth. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, strong organisational abilities, and a proactive approach to achieving business objectives. The Junior Sales Account Manager will work closely with internal sales teams, including technical, operations and logistics, to ensure smooth order processing, timely delivery and technical support. Additionally, they will contribute to the development and execution of the sales and marketing plan.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, building, and nurturing long-term relationships.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service, addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics team to coordinate the fulfilment of orders, ensuring on-time delivery to customers.
- Maximise sales opportunities, with existing and new customers by effectively promoting the company’s products and services.
- Maintain regular and responsive communication with customers, seeking feedback, and identifying opportunities for improvement and additional sales.
- Log and prioritise daily calls and activities, ensuring follow-up and maintaining a comprehensive record of the interactions.
- Collaborate with the sales manager, providing updates on stock situations, order status and customer queries and developments.
- Act as a team player, motivating and inspiring colleagues to achieve business objectives and upholding ambitious standards.
- Assist with ad hoc duties as required by directors or managers from time to time.

**KEY COMPETENCIES**
- Proven experience in external sales/ account management and customer service.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, prioritise effectively, and deliver results.
- Commercial awareness and familiarity with internal CRM systems such as SYSPRO.
- Good command of MS Office suite.
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined and ambitious, demonstrating lofty standards of work and a drive to achieve business objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong networking abilities, capable of building and maintaining relationships with customers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and high energy levels.
- Responsible and accountable.
- Ability to take initiative to drive business growth.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Matric

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:

- At least 2 year's proven Sales Account Management or similar experience preferred.
- Experience in the plastics industry will be advantageous.

**Salary**: R40,000.00 - R45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bryanston, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
