To assist in delivering the HR department’s People Plan on an operational level. To support and coordinate the HR Department’s activities including but not limited to recruitment, selection, learning and development, talent management, performance management, employee relations, health & safety as well as payroll. To drive HR best practices in line with current legislative requirements, business objectives, and company culture and values.

**Outputs and Responsibilities**

**General Administration**
Facilitate and ensure correct invoice processing for all department invoices
Coordinate departmental meetings as and when required
Provide general administrative support to the COP office as when required
Assist with administrative requirements for the IOD process
Guide employees on HR policies and procedures
Update HR communication boards
Coordinate relevant HR communication as and when required to do so

**HR Projects Coordination**
Assist and coordinate various Human Resources projects as and when requested
Support execution (timelines, actions, status reporting, status meetings, deliverables, risks and issues, expenditures, etc.)
Actively drive HR initiatives with staff and employees (change agent)
Compile project reporting and tracking

**Recruitment and Selection**
Drive adherence to Recruitment and Selection policies, procedures, and standards
Assist with recruitment back-end administration as and when required to do so
Support and advocate for the achievement of Employment Equity goals and targets
Coordinate onboarding requirements for new starters
Ensure quality employee documentation for new engagements
Ensure timeous submission of documentation to the payroll department
Ensure that new starter announcements are communicated timeously

**Performance Management Practice and Implementation**
Advise line and employees on the consistent implementation of the correct performance management procedures
Coordinate Performance management tracking and reporting
Coordinate proper recording of performance management agreements and appraisals on a bi-annual basis

**Learning and Development**
Assist with WSP and ATR submission as and when required
Coordinate the administration and submission of accurate training records
IDP process documentation and reporting
Assist with the coordination of employee induction and onboarding
Coordination and updating of training reports as and when required
Coordination of learnership and graduate program as and when required

**Culture and Climate**
Ensure HR service delivery for internal and external customers
Demonstrate and drive organizational cultural activities in line with the business strategy and organizational values
Coordinate the employee recognition program

**Employee Wellness**
Coordinate employee wellness communication
Advocate the use of the Employee Assistance Program effectively
Ensure that the updates and timeous communication on EAP topics are sent out to employees
EAP reporting and coordination

**Education/Qualification, and Experience
**Education/Qualification**
Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management
MS Office

**Experience (experience required for the job)**
Min 1-year relevant experience
Strong admin and coordination skills
Self-driven and assertive
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Teamwork orientated
Attention to detail
A well-disciplined individual with basic knowledge of general labour legislative policies and procedures
