**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
We are looking for a Project Manager to execute our adidas community activations in South Africa. As the Community Manager for adidas Runners (AR) South Africa you will be the primary contact person for our three adidas Runners community teams based in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. You will be responsible for ensuring a well executed and high-class project realization to our client’s standards. In addition to project executional tasks this role includes working within the scope of existing concepts to further develop the AR communities in South Africa.

In this role you will actively
- **
Steer** community teams in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg
- ** Ensure** a constant understanding within the community teams for developed strategies and concepts as well as product innovations and brand campaigns
- ** Ensure** that execution is fully aligned with the client’s brand strategy and visual/verbal identity
- ** Carry out** all project management needs to ensure a well-executed and high-class project realization in close collaboration with the agency project lead, the client and community Captains in each city. This may include:

- Project pllanner & task lists
- Milestones & timelines
- Reportings & KPI’s
- Budget controlling & invoice management
- ** Manage** community teams in all three cities to ensure the successful implementation weekly adidas Runners activations and larger monthly / adhoc activations incl.:

- Develop and maintain yearly AR
- Monthly schedule & weekly activations
- Digital support & technical support incl. uploading sessions to adidas running app
- Assisting with on-ground activation management
- ** Manage** external stakeholders and the local partner ecosystem in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg (vendors, partnerships, brand talents etc.)
- ** Adhoc assistance** to communication manager & account executive wherever necessary
- ** Be** the primary point of contact for client team regarding the adidas Runners project

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
- At least 2 years agency work experience with large corporations
- Innovative approach to challenges & cooperative communication style
- A very meticulous and organized nature, with the ability to reach targets efficiently and effectively
- Detail-oriented with ability to synthesize small details into overall pictures
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Technologically conversant and enthusiastic about technology
- Passionate about sports, open minded and interested in newest trends
- Proficient MS-Office user
- Team player

This position requires great local knowledge of South Africa, applicants should already be based and living here for at least 2 years.
