Cape Town, South Africa Ontec Systems (Pty) Ltd Full time

We are looking for a Support Analyst to review, verify and clean data collected from various sources to facilitate both internal and customer decision making. The analyst will mainly analyse electricity and water consumption and transactional data in order to maximise revenue collection at our customers.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Assist with the development of tools and extracting data from primary and secondary sources.
- Removing corrupted data and fixing errors and related problems.
- Reorganizing data in a readable format.
- Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data.
- Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Using statistical tools to identify, analyse, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction.
- Analysing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organisation and the industry.
- Preparing reports, stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
- Identify metering points to be audited by contractors.
- Manage the field activities including invoicing.
- Run Revenue Assurance Workshops and related meetings.
- Business process mapping.
- Guide the contractors with tampers and bypasses and other meter maintenance.
- Provide remote support to field activities.

- Knowledge of data visualization
- Problem-solving skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations.
- Team-working skills
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
- Proven working experience in data analysis.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant tertiary diploma or degree (electrical engineering is preferred)
- Experience with GIS data handing, representation and mapping tools would be and added advantage.
- At least 5 years industry experience
- Valid Driver’s License

**Location**:

- Ontec Systems Offices (HQ & Regions)

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
