Sales Representative

A well established Lighting Firm is looking for a Sales rep to grow business with existing customers in the electrical wholesaler and electrical contractors' market as well as establish a lasting relationship with prospective new customers.

Key responsibilities
- Build relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities to increase sales
- Identify and develop new customers by introducing them to our range of products
- Provide technical advice and recommendations
- Provide onsite customer training
- Provide regular feedback to manager

**Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Relationship building skills
- Strong communication skills including written and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good documentation skills including attention to detail in drafting quotations and proposals
- Attention to detail
- Disciplined, self-motivated and ability to work independently
- High level of attention to detail
- Forecasting and Planning ability

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer relationship management and development
- Regular travel will be required to visit every customer monthly with several nights spent away each month
- A valid driver’s license with own reliable transport
- Experience in selling industrial/ electrical products
- Achieve monthly sales target

Package and remuneration
- Basic salary
- Commission
- Travel expenses related to business travel

License/Certification:

- drivers license (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (required)

**Salary**: From R7,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
