Manager: Hybrid Learning

Duties/Pligte
- The strategic management of the HL offering (credit-bearing and edX) in line with the strategic goals, intent and vision of SU;
- Achieving the project goals and milestones of the SU HL project and then transitioning and further managing the project into a sustainable service to SU;
- The overall business management of HL;
- Effective human resource management, including the development of a personnel plan and the appointment of staff;
- Developing a sustainable marketing strategy for HL in collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders;
- Developing and continuously monitoring a change management plan for HL;
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, including management and academic and professional support staff members, to ensure close collaboration between relevant role-players where required;
- Liaising with external stakeholders; including external SU partners and online service providers;
- Regular analysis of and reporting on national and international HL trends.

- Die ontwikkeling van 'n volhoubare bemarkingstrategie vir HL in samewerking met toepaslike interne en eksterne belanghebbendes;
- Die ontwikkeling en monitering van 'n veranderingsbestuursplan vir HL;
- Skakeling met interne belanghebbendes, insluitend bestuur en akademiese
- en ondersteuningspersoneel, om nabye samewerking tussen toepaslike rolspelers te verseker waar nodig;
- Skakeling met eksterne belanghebbendes, insluitend eksterne US vennote en aanlyn diensverskaffers;
- Gereelde assessering van en rapportering oor nasionale en internasionale tendense met betrekking tot HL.
Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- An appropriate Master's degree;
- At least three years' relevant experience in a higher education environment;
- Proven experience in the development of online learning material;
- Proven experience in liaising with academic programme leaders in the faculties;
- Proven project management experience to deliver projects within budget, scope and time;
- Proven experience in collaborating with other international university partners and online providers;
- Healthy interpersonal abilities and leadership skills within team context;
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills;
- Proven operational decision-making skills;
- Proven presentation skills;
- Effective communication skills in English.

- Minstens drie jaar se toepaslike ervaring in 'n hoëronderwysomgewing;
- Bewese ervaring in die ontwikkeling van aanlynleermateriaal;
