Finance Administrator: Africa

This includes, but is not limited to:
- Preparing & submitting creditor accounts for payment;
- Loading all payments;
- Providing proof of payments;
- Reconciling cashbook;
- Processing journals;
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations;
- Accurate maintenance of records in the company financials and its subsidiaries in Africa.
These services must be provided in an effective and efficient manner to ensure that the Group finances are accurate and up to date.
**The Person**:
- Degree or Diploma Accounting.
- Min. 3 years working experience as a Clerk in the Finance Administration department.
- Exposure to financial processes and procedures.
**The Job**:
- Repatriation of funds to be administrated.
- All cross-border transactions to be administrated, managed and reconciled.
- Process all standard monthly general ledger journals required by Africa FM or FD.
- Assist Africa Financial Manager with month end management pack reconciliations.
- Prepare all statutory payments along with the returns and submit to the revenue authorities for all the 11 African countries.
- Liaise with Auditors and assist with audit queries.
- Compile information requested by tax authorities of the African countries the business operates in.
- Liaise with bankers for requesting exchange rates for the payment of foreign invoices.
- Attend to all admin functions for the African entities.
**Competencies and Skills**:
- Proficiency in the use of Syspro, AccPac or similar ERP.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, with Advanced skills required in Excel.
- Sound understanding of basic accounting principles.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to think logically, analytically and to solve problems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self starter.
