**Job Summary**:
As a Principal Agile Coach, you will be at the forefront of the organization’s transformation and continuous improvement. You will empower the organization to adopt Agile as a culture shift. The Principal Agile Coach uses their experience and influence to affect the change from a command-and-control culture to one of collaboration. You will serve as a role model and leader for the overall Agile transformation and work directly with organizational leadership and teams to improve their practices. You will work with individual team members to enhance their proficiencies in the execution of the Scrum process. You will serve as an Agile process champion and help teams in business segments who enable agility to improve their ways of working through communications, relationship, and behaviors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coach/mentor executives, managers, product management, agile leads, and teams in the agile mindset, principles, behaviors, and values of leadership.
- Coach organizations to include—but not limited to—engineering, product management, professional services, DevOps, and SRE teams and covering a wide range of practices.
- Enables transition by empowering teams to develop with an Agile mindset and develop frameworks that fit their teams’ mission and workflow.
- Facilitates change in this new way of working.
- Stay current with, communicate, and maintain Agile best practices.
- Deliver training classes for many people.
- Encourage continuous team improvement with a focus on quality, predictability, and productivity.
- Establish and support Agile Communities of Practice
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
- Understands and complies with Risk Management program requirements including identification of risks, key controls, and control testing as applicable to their responsibilities.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job**:

- Proven experience in leading complex initiatives, coaching, and training
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years Agile experience and at least 2+ years of experience coaching Agile teams.
- Deep expertise in Agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Expert in servant leadership, Agile Scrum, Kanban, and Test-Driven Development.
- Working knowledge of release strategies and software engineering principles and practices.
- Very strong facilitation and written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player with outstanding communication, organization, and collaboration skills

**Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job**:

- Experience with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, visual collaboration & facilitation preferred.

**Work Environment**:

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Up to 20% Travel
