**Job Title: Agile Specialist/Scrum Master**

Location: Bellville

**Salary**: R800K - R1 mill per annum max pending experience

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Agile Specialist/Scrum Master to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving the successful implementation of Agile methodologies across our organization. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment, ensuring that **Agile** principles are consistently applied, and helping teams deliver high-quality products on time.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Scrum Master**:

- Act as a dedicated Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies and ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
- Guide and coach the team on Scrum practices, removing impediments, and fostering continuous improvement.

2. **Agile Implementation**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to introduce, implement, and sustain Agile methodologies across various teams and projects.
- Drive the adoption of Agile best practices and principles to enhance team productivity and project delivery.

3. **Team Collaboration**:

- Foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment by promoting open communication, transparency, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that teams work efficiently together towards common goals.

4. **Project Management**:

- Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is focused on delivering high-priority items.
- Monitor and report project progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.

5. **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance team performance.
- Conduct retrospective meetings to reflect on team performance and implement action plans for improvement.

6. **Training and Coaching**:

- Provide training and mentorship to team members, product owners, and other stakeholders on Agile principles and practices.
- Support the growth and development of Agile teams by sharing knowledge and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification would be highly adv.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to change and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Familiarity with other Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Lean).
- Agile coaching certification (e.g., Certified Agile Coach).
