**Core Description**:
Responsible for providing hands-on, day-to-day project management for the Digital Transformation programme within Openserve. Manage projects
across the greater Digital Transformation programme to ensure end to end alignment. Support the Openserve Programme Director and architects
in co-ordinating various activities within Openserve, its vendors and the other Telkom business units to ensure delivery whilst improving
processes, standards and policies. Provide input and support in the management of programmes where required.

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage on a hands-on basis the day-to-day co-ordination of the Openserve Digital Transformation programme and its various projects and stakeholders
- Personally manage, track and ensure critical objectives and requirements of the programme are met from start to completion
- Manage and ensure completion of any required internal Openserve, vendor or other business unit deliverables to meet programme timelines
- Manage programme interdependencies to ensure smooth execution of the various streams within the programme
- Take ownership of cross domain tasks such as Firewall requests, Change Orders, Change Requests, Bug and Defect lists, etc and drive proactively
- from start to completion including creating these tasks on the relevant system and setting up and attending the various associated meetings and
- forums with the appropriate resources to drive to resolution
- Provide support to the Openserve program director and architects to enable them to become more effective at executing programme objectives
- Provide regular feedback reports and status updates to the Openserve team and other Project Managers on deliverables and tasks
- Learn and become proficient with any tools or processes being used by either Openserve, vendors or other business units to ensure complete
- end-to-end visibility of projects and task for tracking and management purposes
- Arrange and participate in meetings as required by the Openserve team
- Proactively network and understand the various role players and stakeholders responsibilities involved in accomplishing the Openserve Digital
- transformation programme across Openserve internally, with vendors and other Business Units
- Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external stakeholders to
- reassess and amend the scope of work requirements, budget and timeline
- Generate applicable Programme and Project reports and dashboards
- Analyze risk and issues, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibilities for initiating mitigating action
- Gain acceptance and sign-off by all parties when closure is attained
- Manage relationship with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order
- to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables
- Ensure continuous improvements in processes and procedures
- Create a programme/ project environment that enables peak performance by team members
- Coach to clarify assignments and deliverables to project team
- Review quality of work and manage integration of team members' work
- Provide performance input to project team
**Required Certification**:
None
**Qualifications**:
Relevant 3 year degree/ diploma (at least NQF level 6)
**Experience**:
5 years relevant experience. Project/ Programme Management in Digital Transformation. IT Development experience is an added advantage.
**Special Requirements**:
- May be required to work overtime or hold project meetings after hours.
- Work independently and remotely.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willing to travel
**Comments**:
The Company adopted a hybrid operating model whereby employees will have two registered workplace locations. This job is identified to be performed from home therefore the home-based office location is the primary workplace and the official office-based location is the secondary workplace
