Digital Marketing Intern

As a digital marketing intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our digital media staff and support the development and implementation of outreach and promotional campaigns to boost brand engagement and increase revenue. You will play an integral role in creating weekly and monthly editorial calendars, tracking social media engagement, and brainstorming new ideas for original content.

**Role**:
**Strategic Marketing**
- Positioning the company on the digital platform.
- Conduct market research and developing effective marketing strategies.
- Stay abreast of progress and direction in the metering sector to ensure Lesira capitalises and leads on development.
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
- Create engaging and SEO friendly content for the company’s website, social media pages and for press releases.
- Coordinate with the Digital Marketing Manager to schedule all marketing activities.
- Manage correspondence.
- Building strong relationships with customers.

**Content creation and Social media management**
- Design, build, and maintain our social media presence.
- Create, organize, & monitor social media campaigns.
- Update social media accounts regularly.
- Help strategize and find new ways to increase our social media exposure for our social media platforms.
- Create creative content for social media accounts.
- Manage and coordinate marketing content calendar.
- Design content and posts as needed.
- Ensure proper portrayal of brand’s image and tone.

**Requirements**:

- Recently graduated with a minimum of Diploma/Degree in digital marketing.
- Must be a social media expert.
- Academic record must be accompanied with the CV when applying.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gauteng, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
