**AVI Ltd. **is known for its leading household brands across many categories including hot beverages, sweet and savoury biscuits, and snacks, frozen convenience foods, personal care products, cosmetics, shoes, accessories, and fashion apparel.

**Logistics Support Services** is a support function to the AVI Group for distribution purposes. LSS has Distribution Centres located in Isando, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town, and East London. The Distribution Centres are responsible for the distribution of all National Brands products i.e., Biscuits, Snacks, Coffee, etc.

AVI’s Logistics Support Services division in Redhill seeks to attract an experienced individual to take on the role of an **Administration Clerk**. The incumbent will report to the Administration Manager and will be responsible for ensuring all processes and procedural compliances are adhered too as well as all administrative deadlines are achieved.

**Job Specification**:
**Key Performance Areas**:

- Creating requisitions and purchase orders
- Validating supplier invoices
- Assisting with vetting of invoices including the good receipts process when necessary
- Co-ordinating transport accounts and compiling damage tolerance monthly report
- Journals - creating reversals and normal journals when required
- Petty cash, travel expense claims reconciled and processed
- Statement reconciliation. Queries to be escalated to the Administration Manager
- Assisting with Flight/Accommodation/Car bookings
- Boardroom bookings - Monitoring and arrangement of boardrooms as required, including catering
- Stationery - Assisting the relevant departments with all their stationery/consumable requirements
- Compilation of daily primary report; MHE Reports and other weekly & monthly finance reports
- Reviewing of accruals and following up on outstanding invoices
- Creating new vendor workflows for any new suppliers on site
- Assisting the Commercial manager and Admin manager with any adhoc functions that is required in the department
- System health checks
- Initiating Capex and Master data workflows
- Compiling data and graphs required for monthly Logistics finance reports and presentations
- Filing
- General administrative duties
- Relieving receptionist when required
- Payroll processing preparation
- Query resolution

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- 2 years Admin and finance related experience

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent

**Additional Requirements**:

- Proficiency in MS Office and intermediate MS Excel skills required
- Basic accounting knowledge will be advantageous
- Knowledge on departmental based costing
- SAP Knowledge
- Valid code 8 driver's license
