Our client, a leading company in the packaging industry, is seeking a Group Inventory Controller to oversee their inventory management operations. This key role requires a thorough understanding of stock taking procedures, inventory costs, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and maintain effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
- Coordinate and manage procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and supplies.
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Analyze inventory data and provide insights to improve stock forecasting, demand planning, and overall inventory control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance inventory control procedures.
- Supervise and lead a team, providing guidance and support in a manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications / Experience:

- Matric (or equivalent)
- Tertiary qualification in engineering or supply chain management
- 5 years’ experience in the inventory management portfolio
- Supervisory exposure within a manufacturing or an FMCG environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
